Ananya Rubayat current works as the Advisor – Communication and Gender in the Energy Cluster of GIZ Bangladesh. She has over twelve years of experience in the Development Communications Sector. Being passionate about the environment, she has worked with national and international organisations on biodiversity conservation, waste management, climate change, and now, sustainable energy. She enjoys combining art, storytelling and technology to aware more and more people about environmental protection.
Ms. Rubayat has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and a Masters in Development Studies from the University of Dhaka.
Chiara Vidussi has 10 years of experience in working in South Asia, in projects covering infrastructure, energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate change mitigation, both in the institutional context, and the private sector investments area. She also worked previously for the European Commission in Brussels, in Development Cooperation projects involving blended finance and gender issues. She is currently programme manager in the energy sector at the European Union Delegation to Bangladesh.
Programme Manager – Energy and Environment, European Union Delegation to Bangladesh
Tanzina Dilshad currently serving as the Programme Manager for Energy and Environment at the Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh since 2020. In her present role, she is mainly working on Bangladesh renewable energy facility for promoting investments in renewable sector, with a special emphasis on climate mitigation. Tanzina actively engages in blending investment projects and harnessing European Fund for Sustaianable Development (ESFD+) grants to drive sustainable development in the region.
Before her current position, she channeled her expertise into meaningful work with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh, where she made contributions to energy and environmental portfolios. Prior to her tenure at UNDP, Tanzina held the role of Senior Research Officer at the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS), where she was deeply involved in climate adaptation and resilience research .While at BCAS, she played an integral role in conducting research on Himalayan water adaptation and resilience, focusing on South Asian countries, including Bangladesh.
Tanzina’s journey in the field of environmental and energy-related initiatives began with her pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from University of Chittagong. In 2016, she earned the esteemed Commonwealth Scholarship, enabling her to pursue her master’s degree in Climate Change at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.

Socio-economist with a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree and multi-disciplinary background in Economics and Anthropology. Over ten years of experience at the World Bank providing cross-sector analytical and operational support for Energy and Social Development units. Technical expertise in quantitative and qualitative analytical methods, policy analysis, social safeguards and operationalizing research. Interested in topics related to social sustainability of energy infrastructure development such as social inclusion, gender, benefit sharing, corporate social investment, community engagement, and behavioral change. A Nepali National and U.S. Permanent Resident.
